Our Plan

With the increasing concern over the current coronavirus situation we wanted to assure you that it’s business as usual here at Thompson Reid.

What is Thompson Reid doing to ensure continued service?

Our culture and technology already provide the opportunity for all of our staff to work from home with very little disruption to your service. In the event of a lockdown situation, your service will continue as normal albeit without being able to conduct face to face meetings.

Initially we intend to undertake all meetings via the phone, and maybe longer term we will look at introducing virtual meetings. Our telephone is cloud-based and therefore all of our key staff will still be at the end of a telephone should you require them.

We will continue to keep the office staffed for as long as we are able to do so, although the office won’t be available for meetings. Books and records can still be dropped off at the office for the time being.

Even if the office does have to close, we will have regular visits to the office to collect post, so clients are welcome to post through the letter box any paperwork that requires attention.

Therefore we encourage all clients to in the first instance either email or telephone and we will endeavour to continue to provide you our first class service.

What are we doing in the office to prevent Coronavirus?

We are actively encouraging self-isolation of staff with accordance to Government guidelines. Again, due to our home working policy this means that staff may still be working while self isolating, if they are well enough to do so. We will of course keep you updated with any changes.

This virus could dramatically hit businesses now and over the coming weeks. If you have any concerns as to how your business may be affected, please get in touch with us. If you would like any support with HR policies or staff issues, please let us know.

Here to help

We will be available to provide support and help throughout this unprecedented situation. HMRC and the Government are updating things on a daily basis, so we will do our best to be able to advise clients on the various options of help that is available.

Our advice is simple….. You are not alone. Please contact us and will we look to help and support you through this.
